What is Embodiment # 96: Living without Values

embodiment 96

If true value is that which is eternal and beyond name, how do we know it when we see it?

Only what’s infinite is eternal, and the infinite is everywhere and nowhere.

Put differently, that which is of true value is the same thing in you that recognizes what has value.

To really value life means living without values. It is to be as little children again.

Because of what happened to us as little children, however, this prospect is perhaps the most frightening prospect there is.

    • Can you clarify?

Funnily enough my own value system seems to have been disproportionately influenced by Daves: David Bowie, David Byrne, David Lynch, David Cronenberg, David Cassidy (kidding!).

Sam Peckinpah’s first name was David!
